β What's Covered
Onyx Auto Parts offers a 30-day warranty on select used parts, against defects and premature failure under normal operating conditions.
- Engines β all used OEM engines sold by Onyx Auto Parts
- Transmissions β automatic and manual OEM transmissions
- Differentials β front and rear differentials
- Transfer Cases β all OEM transfer cases
β± Warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Claims must be initiated within 30 days.
π§ Licensed Mechanic Requirement
To be eligible for any warranty claim, the part must have been installed by a licensed mechanic. Installation by anyone other than a licensed automotive professional automatically voids the warranty.

- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or external causes
- Parts purchased without confirming fitment for your vehicle
- Consequential or incidental damages such as labour costs, towing, or rental vehicles

π³ Exchanges & Refunds
Our first priority is to exchange the defective part with a working replacement of equal quality.
If an exchange cannot be provided due to unavailability, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5β10 business days of us receiving and approving the returned item.
π¦ Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs when sending a part back under warranty. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method β we cannot be responsible for parts lost or damaged in transit.
Once we receive and approve the part, we will cover the cost of shipping the exchange or replacement back to you.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the part. We are not responsible for labour costs, towing, rental vehicles, or any other costs associated with a defective part.
